I will be in your fair locale the week of August 5th and need recommendations on eating and touristy stuff.
First, the preliminary details:
- Base of operations is here.
- I have no transportation. Everything must be accessible via public transportation.
- This is technically a work trip so the fun stuff will be limited to after 5pm.
By "fun stuff" I mean family-friendly. No "whoo-hoo!" fun stuff. Perv.
And the questions:
- Food. I plan on eating a lot while I'm there. You know the credo: first order of business--survival. Ideas?
- Touristy stuff. Golden Gate Park... what else?
- Public trans. What's the best for getting where?
- Cab from the airport, or???
- Do you know where I could find the nucular wessels?
I'm happy to purchase lunch for anyone with informative input.
